Scoundrels

What does it take to successfully share the message of Liberty, and what harms that message? Nathan kicks off the hour with a discussion of how some styles of messaging can turn people off. This develops into a discussion of the controversy surrounding Rush Limbaugh's comments about Robin Williams the day the beloved actor's death was announced, and a public apology for mischaracterizing Limbaugh's words. The second half of the show centers around the idea of antiheroes and scoundrels in movies and literature, prompted by a scene between Princess Leia and Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back. What makes a character a scoundrel, and why do we love them for it?
